The Players started in 1980. They next perform in May for "The Three Musketeers," one of their three annual productions.
Erika Crocco, vice president, said each time they choose a charity to donate a portion of the proceeds.
"We put our heart and soul into it," Crocco told Daily Voice. "It really is an honor to bring theater to this area."
The theater has around 100 members, Crocco said. They take proposals from various directors when choosing a show.
They try to do at least one family-oriented performance per year to bring in all age groups, she said.
They're always open to suggestions for more shows.
"There's a million shows out there and we never know what people are going to come up with," Crocco said.
The West Milford Players provide an alternative to a trip to New York City, the vice president said. Most of the performers also come from the area, with some from Bergen County as well.
The theater group held auditions in February for "The Three Muskateers," with the last date of Feb. 13.
